Next time I need to add about 1/2" of thickness to the body if I want to put in such a deep shape.

As it is now I have 1" of thickness in the edge of the body, and the jack requires a 1" diameter hole.KWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01792617397718781026noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1634856836748530964.post-81243901990995038512010-12-27T12:16:08.441-08:002010-12-27T12:16:08.441-08:00KW: Ooooh, that strum hand obstruction is a real c...KW: Ooooh, that strum hand obstruction is a real consideration. Can't have that, you're right. That would be a never ending annoyance. Too bad you can't drill into the body and hook it up on the edge of the guitar like a Les Paul (probably isn't thick enough).Mykal Bantahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12148489896145024134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1634856836748530964.post-39567849736045386742010-12-27T12:08:40.359-08:002010-12-27T12:08:40.359-08:00could you make the jack part of the back strap-lok...could you make the jack part of the back strap-lok?uberbellynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1634856836748530964.post-15044693233763111182010-12-27T12:07:03.644-08:002010-12-27T12:07:03.644-08:00I like the looks of the simple circle too. This guitar body is pretty small so it seems cluttered no matter what I do. I turned the angled plate horizontally to match the laminated stripes and it looks less overpowering that way.

Thanks Mykal, for the visit and commentKWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01792617397718781026noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1634856836748530964.post-44079551549788902452010-12-26T20:07:37.324-08:002010-12-26T20:07:37.324-08:00I vote circular plate - the guitar has such a clas...I vote circular plate - the guitar has such a classic look to me; plus the angled plate, at any angle, looks too dominant on the top of the body - it sort of clutters up the nice, roundish look.Mykal Bantahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12148489896145024134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1634856836748530964.post-24364680789717597872010-12-24T09:42:21.629-08:002010-12-24T09:42:21.629-08:00You are right.
