ReplyDeleteThere are so many possibilities, variations on a theme for this one. You could have page one repeat for a hundred pages, then the last panel punch-line comes from the Bird: "Enough already ! I heard you the 1st time !" etc.
Ha ha! I like that idea.
ReplyDeleteIt would be fun to do a "Shaggy Dog" story, where you punish the reader for committing a chunk of their time to see the story all the way thru to the end. The ending needs to be a big slap in the face.

ReplyDeleteI had budgies galore when I was a kid, and into my early adulthood....I spent many an hour in front of the cage just like Mr. Gootz here. {Or is that the bird's name?}

We had a budgie too. We loved it. It was a sad day when we found him in the bottom of the cage.
