SIR NECKLY LONGSWALLOW

I haven't drawn anything in a few days. Sometimes just a plain ol' ugly face satisfies the itch.

  2. HA! Good one!

Clint Eastwood might be a good voice for this one.

I love drawing plain old ugly faces....my fave thing to draw!

Line drawings have a strength that colour sometimes takes away, as you suggested on my blog earlier....totally agree.

I've been thinking of starting a blog devoted to the art of line....showcasing my fave line drawings from other artists over the years.

    Time permitting!!!

    Looking for a name....THE LINE-UP is all I have so far....any ideas?

  4. KW: This really reminds me of the Chester Gould classic Dick Tracy bad guys.

  5. Thanks guys!
I like the Clint voice idea too. That would be perfect. Willy, I can't think of a better title than The Line-Up. It's perfect!

  12. I agree with Mykal that Sir Neckly does look like a Gould villain :)
And in a way, with that style of hat, he looks like an evil Buster Keaton alien doppleganger. Brilliant.

I haven't watched any Buster Keaton movies in forever, but I remember loving them. I'd like to see some again.
