Here is a painting of horrible actor, Tor Johnson. Even though he was bad at acting, he seemed like a nice enough guy in real life. His big meaty head is very fun to paint. No hair, no pupils, lots of wrinkles, and very ugly.

Really reminds me of the work of Basil Gogos - The artist that did many covers for Famous Monster of Filmland. -- Mykal
ReplyDeleteYou made him three dimensional! How'd you do it?!
ReplyDeleteFANTASTICO! TOR want CHEETOS!
ReplyDeleteMykal - I like Basil Gogos a lot. I've a book about him. Thanks for that compliment!
ReplyDeleteAko - Thanks! I guess stuff looks 3D if the lighting all comes from the same direction as it hits all the different parts it can reach.
Brad - Thanks brother!
KW: I have just loaded this up for a desktop wallpaper on my computer. It really works fantastic for that!
