Here's a comic strip about my favorite pastime. It's another comic that could go on forever. Maybe it would be funny as a really thick book.
Here's an alternately colored version (which I do a lot of times, because sometimes one color looks no better to me than another, and I have difficulty settling on one.)
And here is is in black and white. I believe I like this one best. The slightly varying gray tones remind me of old UPA cartoons.

Many an ARTIST can relate to this one... I actually like the violet one best because it reminds me of early 70's advertisements in comics (which I was fascinated by as much as the comic stories).
ReplyDeleteI like the B&W myself. As you say - all UPA flavor. How's the Weiner Dog?
ReplyDeletemy wife needs to see this- she's the ultimate pro-cras-ti-nate-------------------------tor!
ReplyDeleteLysdexicuss, Thanks! I too was mesmerized by the ads in comics back in the day.
ReplyDeleteMykal, I feel like you can't go wrong with B&W. Lucy the wiener dog is fine. Thanks for asking!
Professor, Ha ha! That would be a great super hero name! With all the dots just like you wrote it.
Haha... awe

Hell, they're all nice!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see a version where each panel {character} fades a little until the last panel {character}, where you would see nothing but the copy.
If you ever "get around to it"!!
Send anything to MAD btw?
Willy, that's a great idea, like he's waited all day until it got dark. I haven't sent my stuff to MAD yet. I'm working up a package.
ReplyDeleteI read it with much anticip--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ation, nice work.
