THE FLOWER-HAT GANG

These are some wood carvings I made with scraps of mahogany I found in the trash at work. Their odd shapes were dictated by the shapes of the scraps. Both have movable arms so their weapons can be posed in many threatening angles. Mahogany is probably my favorite carving wood. Chisels cut through it very easily and it holds sharp clean edges. Softer woods like pine will get fuzzy and crumbly.

I thought every time I found some mahogany I'd make another guy. Having a hat with a flower is the only requirement to be in their gang. So far the gang is only two members strong.
