LIPOSUCTION LOUIE

He had all the fat removed from his face to make himself more attractive.

This is another drawing done with black and white pencils on brown paper.

Unlike painting, pencil drawing is very relaxing. With paint you have to work quickly before your mix starts to dry, and if you mess up you've gotta wait for it to dry so you can paint over it. Something about knowing there's wet paint on the tip of your brush puts you into a more frenzied mood. Painting is fun and I guess it can be relaxing, but there's a lot of setup time and it's messy, and once you start you're in it for the long haul. You have to go until you're done. With pencils you can stop and start and come and go as you please.

  1. I love this piece Keith (Lipo-Lou)...you've got a bit of the 'ol Basil Wolverton "mojo" going here. This guy is so gruesomely kewl, he too should be on those pukey pals cards.
You've almost convinced me to go out and buy the black and white markers...I already got plenty of the brown grocery store sacks :)

  2. Ketih: You have the God-given gift to make your fellow humans go "eeewww!" - and I am glad to see, unlike many artists, your gifts are not wasted.

I love the texture you give this guy. I can see how going over the white shadow work would be very therapeutic. Great stuff, dude. -- Mykal

  5. keith, your pencil drawings are really great. they would make a great coffee table book.

i agree about the painting. i dont know how many times i have had the desire to sit down to really do some painting, only to decide against because of the time and mess. To me watercolors are a nice compromise though, you still get to paint but it is much easier endeavor. I have also started to use colored inks which is quite fun.

  6. Brad,
Thanks! I probably have enough to fill a coffee table book.

I bet you'd be really good at acrylics. Although they are messy, they aren't as bad as oils.

  9. Liposuction is also referred to as lipoplasty and suction lipectomy. People commonly assume that this procedure is limited to areas like the hips and stomach. They might also think of the thighs and butt. These are areas where people tend to store the most fat. Certainly, these areas are some of the more popular areas that are targeted by the procedure, but there are many other areas that can be treated successfully by lipoplasty. 10. Ha ha! I wonder if those fake comments ever actually drum up real business? Seems like it would only put people off.

  11. The surgery is very popular and famous .Liposuction surgery should be thought of as a way to improve the contour and shape of the body rather than as an easy way to lose weight.

  12. Maybe Lipo needs to have some treatments done to his own head.
